Human Sexuality is the second song on You Flow Through Me. It's a combination of many styles, including raggae, soul, and funk. It holds a special place in Emil's heart, because it talks about human sexuality in a universal way. It is not about sex; but about human nature.
Emil had fun with the vocal phrasing: the words move towards the third verse in a way that makes it seem like it will become a reggae tune, but it ends up a thigh grinder. That groove also means that it's fun to solo over.
His mother was a musician, and was always into the music he was creating. She'd have him play his songs and critique them. She took it seriously, knowing it meant a lot to him, and he feels fortunate to have had her support.
