When my grandpa Norm passed away in 2022, my family held a memorial where we celebrated his life by playing music that he was involved in playing and writing.

Led by my dad (his son) and Norm's wife Judy, a band was formed with members of Norm's many bandmates throughout his life. They put on a performance of 11 songs at the memorial, recorded by Michael Witwer, a family friend. The recordings sounded so good that they decided to use them as a base for a live/studio hybrid album, which they finished in early 2024.

This project is on my website because I had a small part in it: I played the keys in Fazon. But it's really here because it's a very important project for my family and I'm very proud of the whole thing.

We may release it to streaming eventually, but for now the full album is available via the YouTube playlist below, complete with slideshows of pictures from Norm's life, his musical career, and this project. Enjoy!
